There can be several occasions where you would want to:

  • Hide the option "If you are having trouble viewing this email, click here".
  • Place it in somewhere else rather than at the top of the email.
  • Use custom verbiage for this link, rather than the default "If you are having trouble....".

In order to completely skip this line from the campaign:

  • Kindly uncheck the option 'SHOW EMAIL PREVIEW LINK' while on the Campaign Creation Page.

In order to show this line in the middle or end of the content rather than showing it at the top OR in order to use the custom verbiage for it:

  • Use the tag {{campagin.click_to_view}}
  • This tag will create a link so that the contact can view the email in a browser. The purpose of this tag is when you want to use custom verbiage for this type of link, rather than the default ‘If you are having trouble viewing this email, please click here’. If you use only this tag, it will display as a raw URL to the email preview.

**Note: If using this campaign tag, please un-check the box that reads ‘Email Preview Link’ when creating a campaign or using the ‘Send Email’ element in a workflow. This ‘Email Preview Link’ will automatically put a hyperlink with the verbiage ‘If you are having trouble viewing this email, please click here’ at the top of your email, so there is no need to use the {{campaign.click_to_view}} AND have this box selected.**
