Account Settings is a page within our platform that allows select users* to manage and edit their account-level details. As a reminder, account settings can be accessed by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner of the menu and selecting ‘Account Settings’ from the drop down.
*Please note: if you do not see account settings you may not have access. If you can see account settings but not try out our new features, you may have Read-Only Access. Contact your admin if you need to increase you access. During this new update, we did not change which users have privileges to access to this feature and who does not.
What’s Changed in Account Settings
Account settings received a fresher look, with the font, colors, and button styles changed to match the other modern pages of our platform.
One important change we made to information stored within account settings is how we save and display your Account’s Address. Previously, account address’ were entered and saved in a single text box – following no standard format or enforcing no mandatory details typically found in a complete address (such as ZIP/Postal code or unit number). We’ve broken down the single address text box, into multiple fields that compose a complete address such as Unit, Street Number, Street Name, State/Province, Country, ZIP/Postal Code.
Legacy Account Address
New Account Address
Once the new account setting page is released, you will find your entire existing saved address stored into the Address Line 1 field, with all remaining fields blank. We highly encourage that you go in, and correctly update your address into the proper fields.
As a reminder, this address is used within our platform in the following places:
Footer - The campaign address is pulled into the default Maropost footer with the tag {{campaign.address}}. This tag is required in the footer for all emails. |

|
![]() |
Journey Emails - The account address is pulled into the journey email element in both journeys & data journeys. | ![]() |
Set Contact (Step Two of Campaign Creation) - While selecting the target audience of the email campaign (list, brand, segment, or table) your account address will appear under the Sender Data. | ![]() |
What’s New in Account Settings
We’ve added two new settings to better your experience within our platform: Manage Accounts and Set Industry.
Industry Field: We have added a new field to account settings called ‘Industry’. We ask you enter the industry your account operates within (for example: Retail/eCommerce, Marketing Agency, Software and Technology, etc). This data helps us better understand your needs and goals, so we can tailor certain features, webinars, and best practices relevant to your industry.
Coming Soon to Account Settings
Manage Accounts: If you have multiple accounts or sub-accounts with Maropost, we have created a page for you to view and manage all your accounts in a single view. Clicking on the “Manage Accounts” button will take you to an overview page.
At the top of this page will display your contract term and renewal date, your overall monthly email volume allotment and your total sent emails. In addition, you will see all your sub-accounts or associated accounts and a breakdown of the email usage per account.
By clicking the options menu next to the account name, you will see the options to Edit the account or switch to the account. Clicking the edit button will take you to this accounts’ details page in edit mode.
